May 15th (Day 1)

Well today was the day. I started out by getting up around 6 am and got ready, hitting the road by about 7 am. Talk about early. The trip took about 7 hours or so and I arrived in Cleveland around 2 pm. I met up with James Fruits (the Creative Arts guy/my boss) and met the rest of the guys (and gal). It didn't take long for us to get to work. Tyler (another intern from KCU), Micah (an intern from Milligan College), James, Jeff (another intern who is a regular attender at Momentum), and I went to the theater where they hold their Sunday morning church services. We brought some of the props and backdrops out of the storage closet and loaded them in James' truck. Afterward we took a short little tour of downtown Cleveland and arrived back at the Fruits' household for dinner. James and the other members of the worship band had practice around 7 pm. My host was actually a member of the band (Dave Mariano). While they practiced, I was asked if I could go back to the office and work on the backdrops for Sunday. (We are starting a new series at Momentum this week. It's a 'Man Series'. haha) So I worked on putting a second coat of paint on the backdrops. The rest of the night was enjoyable, filled with conversation and laughter. I guess that's about all I can update you on for now. Till tomorrow (hopefully).  =)
