May 23 (Day 9)

Another day completed. It was a pretty good day. It started out with me heading into the office at 8 am to work for about an hour. Then I drove out to the other church plant that Momentum helped start, Velocity, for band practice. It was a lot of fun, and the guys out there are pretty awesome. I was there for about an hour and a half or so. After I was done there, I headed back home for a day complete. I fixed myself some lunch and popped in "I Am Legend". After lunch I headed upstairs and worked on some homework, listened to a little bit of a sermon, and read. About an hour later I decided to walk to the grocery store and pick up a few things. When I got back from the grocery store things really got cool. Dave was about to grill some chicken he had marinated in teriyaki sauce and make some salad for dinner. So we cooked and chatted. Over dinner, we had one of the best conversations that I've had in a while. We talked about things going on in our lives and our spiritual journeys and stuff like that. We chatted for about 2 hours before finally cleaning up the left overs, haha. It was great. Dave and I are becoming pretty good friends and I'm really glad that I'm able to be a part of his spiritual journey this early in his relationship with Jesus.
