June 24th (Day 41)

Today's verses are Joshua 1:8-9, Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
I think that's a very fitting verse for how stressful work was and had the potential to be this week, haha. Today was wonderful! I got into work and the only person there was Joyce. I never knew how much work I could get done when there is very little there to be distracted by. From about 9:20 am to 1:45 pm, I worked on a new arrangement for the song "Here I Am to Worship." It was a lot of fun to do too! James had wanted to come up with a new version of this song that would fit more with Momentum's style, and yesterday I was messing with some guitar delay ideas and out popped an idea. So for the past two days I've been experimenting with them. After getting a good rough draft down for the band to critique and listen to, I started working more on the iWorship videos for this week. I finished the lyric MOV's for "Strong Tower", so all I have left to do is get the backgrounds picked out and work on "spicing" it up a little, haha. I got a rough click track made for "You Gave Me A Promise" as well. Mo Group tonight was AWESOME! I got to lead the story and teach through that, which was a lot of fun. Michael told me to take a half day tomorrow, so I'm planning on going in tomorrow after lunch. I am actually about to go work with Dave on the new arrangement and try to get it polished down some more. Well I guess that's about all I have for you today. Until tomorrow!
